Abilities Centre

Recognized as an International Centre of Excellence for its fully accessible design and inclusive environment, the Abilities Centre in Whitby, Ontario is a multi-award winning facility, which is unique and desirable for any modern bride. Providing a clean, accessible, and contemporary venue, whether it be for a cocktail style reception, sit-down dinner, ceremony or more, the Abilities Centre work with the best in the business to ensure that your night, is one to remember.

Capacity: The Abilities Centre can accommodate up to 280 guests, depending on your event.

Avalon Lounge

Port Whitby Marina’s clubhouse is a fully accessible facility featuring a wonderful panoramic view of Whitby’s harbour. Located inside the clubhouse is the Avalon Lounge. The Avalon Lounge is a 2100 square foot multi-use bar and lounge which has a maximum capacity of 100 people for weddings, dinner parties or social bookings, and 125 people with theatre-style seating for meetings, conferences or lectures.

Capacity: The Avalon Lounge can accommodate up to 125 guests, depending on your event.

Bloom Field Gardens

A long-standing favourite in Newcastle, Ontario, Bloom Field Gardens was established in 2003, and boasts century old barns, surrounded by country gardens, and displaying a beautiful array of varying plant varieties. The Ceremony Garden is a lovely English rose garden, built in 2009 especially for a Bloom Fields’ family wedding, and lovingly shared with the public.

Capacity: Bloom Fields Gardens can accommodate up to 240 guests, depending on your event.

Centennial Building

Built in 1854, the Centennial Building in Whitby, Ontario boasts a unique, historic setting that exudes charm, splendor and warmth. Host your special occasion, family or corporate function in one of Ontario’s finest designated heritage buildings!

Century Barn

Century Barn is set in the beautiful rolling hills of Cavan, Ontario, conveniently located one hour East of Toronto. With an abundance of rustic charm, this venue is the ultimate combination of vintage and romantic taste. This picturesque farm estate is the perfect setting for your barn wedding, and Century Barn has been holding community events and weddings in their historic barn for over ten years.

Ganaraska Forest Centre

The Ganaraska Forest Centre is set in 4,450 hectares of mixed forest within an hour’s drive of Toronto, Peterborough and Cobourg, features overnight accommodations for over 80 people, and is a perfect venue for weddings, corporate training or other private events.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is the ideal event centre offering a variety of unique event opportunities, whether you are looking to build or maintain your customer relations, strengthen company team spirit, or simply entertain clients. Motorsport Park’s multi-functional event facility houses a large ballroom or conference hall, intimate lounge, boardrooms and an additional level that may be utilized in multiple configurations to suit your needs. For memorable and exciting corporate events, their facility offers various capacities, from an intimate gathering of a 120 seated dinner, to a multi-meeting conference centre.

Newcastle Community Town Hall

If you are looking for a unique event location, or planning a wedding, fundraiser, or banquet, the Newcastle Community Town Hall is the perfect spot to host your special event. Newcastle’s Community Town Hall also hosts a wide range of events for everyone in the community.

Orono Town Hall

Built in the Fall of 1898, walking into the Orono Town Hall takes one back in time, to the beautiful Romanesque Revival style architecture of Toronto Architect George Miller. Over the years, many Hollywood films have been filmed at this picturesque venue, and famous actors such as John Candy, Meryl Streep, Gerard Butler, Christopher Walken and Martin Sheen have enjoyed the venue.

Capacity: The Orono Town Hall can accommodate up to 125 guests, depending on your event.

Parkwood Estate

Parkwood Estate offers a number of beautiful and historic settings for meetings, receptions and special events. It is the perfect setting to hold your wedding, to mark a corporate milestone or celebration, or to get away from the office for your retreat or training workshop.

Located on the grounds of one of Canada’s last grand estates, the Carriage House exterior retains the historic characteristics of the original carriage/garage facilities, while the renovated interior provides the latest in comfort and accommodations. At Pathways on Pleasure Valley, their event lodge is a hidden gem in the forest, and an ideal place for you to host your special event. With a huge 3000 square foot facility available year round, it makes for the perfect venue for weddings, corporate meetings, and other types of gatherings. With a large outdoor area, Pathways at Pleasure Valley is able to host up to 250 of your guests comfortably.

Victoria Hall

The Concert Hall at Victoria Hall is available for rent for events including corporate meetings and seminars, lectures, exhibits, balls and receptions. Enjoy your wedding reception or special occasion in Victorian splendour. The Concert Hall has been fully restored to its Grand Ballroom glory with modern amenities.

Whether it is a small, intimate reception or a large gathering, we can fulfill your requirements. The Concert Hall & Citizens’ Forum are air conditioned and wheelchair accessible.
